Care Instructions

To maximize product life, use a draining soap dish and keep bar dry and away from the direct shower spray while not in use

Directions for Use

Thoroughly wet the bar and gently rub into wet hair from top to bottom of head in the direction of hair growth. A few swipes is usually enough. Wash hair as usual, gently working in lather while massaging scalp. Rinse well and follow with a solid conditioner bar or your normal styling routine.

Our solid shampoo bars have no expiration date, but should be used within a year of purchase. For the best experience, use within 6 months of purchase. After that, your shampoo will still be shampoo, but the fragrance may fade.

You need this shampoo!

Just a couple swipes through wet hair and you get a rich lather that cleans your hair, rinses easily and provides many washes. Get the soap dish for your shower and then get rid of all the plastic crowding your shower shelf. Oh and get the conditioner too. Highly recommended!

Lemon Zest Shampoo for Dry Hair

I had first come across Front Yard Homestead products at an art fair in Janesville, Wi. I had bought the Calamine lotion and was so impressed that I purchased a few more products last week. They arrived within 3-4 days. Fast shipping.
The box was arranged so cute. Like a gift box. So cute and thoughtful.
I have never used a bar shampoo, but my hair is now gray and very frizzy, so I wanted to try something different.
Smells great and it was so much easier to use then I expected. It lathered up great. I was impressed. Today was the first day I used it. It seems to have worked great. I did order the same scent in the conditioner for dry hair as well. I will probably be ordering some more in different scents.
I did think it was priced a little high but if this works well for me it is worth it!
